Michael Peter Moltz

Michael Peter Moltz, whose Hebrew name was Melache Pincus, passed away on the 31st of January of 2025 in Lynnwood, Washington.

Michael was born in Northridge, California on November 3rd, 1983, two minutes after his twin sister Anna, to parents Sundae Lee Rosen and Edward David Moltz.

Michael had enjoyed Anime, Billiards, and Fishing since his teen years, and recently added Bingo to his repertoire. He also enjoyed video gaming and had a long standing online gaming night with his best friend Eric Hirsch.

Michael was an absolute goofball and enjoyed making people laugh with his silly antics. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand.

Michael is survived by his mom, Sundae Rosen and his twin sister, Anna Walsh and her husband, Douglas and their 2 children, Noah and Alexandria, and his father, Edward Moltz and step-mom, Lori Moltz. He is also survived by his step-sisters Amanda Copeland and her 3 children, Cameron, Makayla and Katelyn; Stacey Flannigon and her 3 children, Madison, Tyler and Niel, and Ashley Flannigon and her 3 children, Raegan, Coltyn and Hunter; his step-sisters Jeannie Dodge and her husband, David and their 2 children, Nathan and Hannah, Billie Joe Goodman and her 2 sons, Jimmy and the late Jace, Sara Goodman and her 2 children, Ryan and Alyssa, and Krissy Goodman; his paternal aunts, Beth Moltz and Marsha Strahl, paternal uncle, Nathan Strahl, maternal great aunt and uncle Mickie and Joe Patterson, and his maternal grandma, Gaynell Rosen. Michael is also survived by many wonderful and loved cousins. His relatives that have passed before him include his paternal Bubbie and Zaddie, Sema and Bill Motlz, maternal grandpa, Alexander Rosen, maternal aunt, Jodie Rosen, maternal great uncle, Johnny Andrews, step-dad, Daniel Flannigon, and maternal grandmother, Patricia Ross.

Michael’s memorial service will be held on March 1st, 2025, at 11:30 am in the sanctuary of Resurrection Church Auburn with lunch to follow in the fellowship hall.
