Cara Lynn Slee

Cara Lynn Slee, age 38 passed away peacefully in her home on April 22, 2024 by her family in North Bend, Washington. Cara was born May 11, 1985 in Marquette Michigan to Daniel Slee and the late Marynell Watts.

Cara relocated to the Seattle, Washington area in 2006 after graduating high school. Cara was an avid hiker and loved the outdoors such as camping and exploring with her husband Ricky, son Caden, dog Fritz and friends/family throughout the years.

She adored being a mother to her son Caden and spending time with her friends and close family more than anything. Cara had a passion to travel to see family and new places. She always had love and kindness for people that was never overseen.

Cara worked at McMenamins for over 15 years in the city of Seattle, serving and socializing with people as she loved to do. Her “regulars” and staff over the years turned into family.

Cara was preceded in death by her mother Marynell Watts and stepfather Donald Watts. She is survived by her husband Ricky Glad, son Caden Glad, father Daniel Slee, siblings Laura Reeve (Sean), Katie Davis (Matt) and Peter Watts, grandmother Virginia Coombs, nephews Ivan and Jack Reeve and niece and nephew Cleo and Finnegan Davis. A Celebration of Life will be held for Cara at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers or funeral donations, please make a contribution to the American Cancer Society or to The Glad Family due to many medical expenses they have endured over the years.
