I was so sorry to hear about Richard. My deepest sympathy to Marnie, his children and to all of his family.
I can without a doubt say Rich was one of the most unique and down-to-earth characters I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I will forever cherish our bantered conversations of White Center, Boeing/Machinist Union Politics, and life. He was a major mentor to me during some difficult times in my life and for that I will be eternally grateful. I’m gonna miss you brother—-see you on the other side. Love and Prayers to the McCabe Family.
Richard was a true Gentleman he took pride in helping others. He loved his kids and was proud of them.
We all knew his wife was an Angel.
I miss him.
I am at a loss for words…
I already miss him. He was a special person in the family.
I appreciated how he was friendly and liked to include others. He had genuine interest and concern, as he interacted with people.
Sending my love, prayers, and hugs.
Omg Marnie, I’m heartbroken. Richard was a good friend to me in High School and even though he married the coolest friend from grade school, our lives drifted in different directions and we lost touch. I hate that. I’m so incredibly sorry for your’s and your entire family’s loss.
Such a friendly person who always gave us a warm and genuine greeting at church or wherever we see him. Condolences, hugs, and prayers for the family.
I just heard of Rich’s passing from the IAM751. So sorry for your loss.
I met Rich on the 737 wingline in Renton, where we both worked. He will be missed.
I’ve work with Rich for 25 plus years, he was my BR while I am a steward and he used to be the steward when I was a manager…he was my close peeps and a friend, I will miss him greatly…I am struggling to put this into words but had to say something…I love you Rich.
Richard- Thank you for always making us feel like we were apart of your family. We will forever be grateful for the times you invited us over for dinners & Easters, for being there for our personal milestones (every graduation!) and for greeting us every Sunday with your big grin & giant hugs. Thank you for being our sponsor for our Confirmations in church; we looked up to you. We miss you so much already
To my friend, mentor and union brother, I say with a very heavy heart I will truly miss you. Most of my union ventures where with you. From conventions to rallies, I could always count on that smile… something so special about that smile. It, like you will always hold a special place in my heart and memories. Thank you for always being willing to help. Thank you for always making the time to teach and when necessary, preach what we needed to hear. You will be missed brother. My family’s love and prayers goes out to your family. I look forward to seeing you again my friend. Rest well, you deserve it. In Unity,
James
Rich is a great Guy…
One who will be remembered for a lifetime. Sadly his time was too short for us. Apparently his work here is done and he was needed in Heaven. They say the good die young, ain’t that the truth. Our Sympathy & Prayers for his family.
May he forever Rest In Peace. He was a funny, sharp, guy who really came through for my spouse on MANY occasions. We appreciate him for his expertise and hard work. ❤️
I’m so sorry for your families loss. I was a Boeing employee until 2020 and knew Rich as a Business Rep for Boeing for many years. He would come into our areas throughout the years and helped us with all and anything we needed with Boeing issues . Extremely funny and friendly Always. I also worked with Charles Chesmat. He will surely be missed by many that I worked with along with all other Boeing employee’s he knew throughout many years.
