He was a good man and he will be missed.
Don was my and my sister Joy’s adopted dad. He adopted us when he married our mother in the early 50’s. They were divorced when I was around nine. Don was my dad and I loved him deeply. I missed having him in my life after he remarried.
Don also had another daughter when married to our mother. Geraldine Louise Ahrens who seems to be missing in the obituary.
One day in Heaven, Don and his first family will be allowed to have a relationship again. RIP Don.
Don. I had to say goodbye and thank you for the wonderful years you gave me. I’m proud to have been a piece of your life.
