Marilyn Bowe
Marilyn Bowe passed in her sleep on the morning of February 5th. She was born and raised in Auburn Washington.
Marilyn learned to dance a variety of styles however she would say that Tap was her favorite. She fondly recalled dancing in shows in Seattle during the 30’s. Later in life she learned to hula and unsuccessfully tried to teach her children.
Marilyn also loved to travel and often told stories of her early trips across the western United States via train. Later she expanded into cruising having sailed to Alaska, the Caribbean and Mediterranean. She enjoyed all things chocolate from fudgesicles to truffles. However, she often told the story of craving some chocolate only to find only bakers chocolate in the house. She did taste it and found out that it was too bitter for her taste. She also was quite fond of the color red, most of her wardrobe consisted of red sweaters coats and right down to her red slippers.
Marilyn is proceeded in death by her husband John Bowe and her son Robert Anderson. She is survived by daughters Kevin Layne and Kathleen Navarre (William) along with son Chris (Wendy) seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Per Marilyn’s wishes no services are planned.
