Mary Patricia Cavim
Our mother’s beautiful spirit went to walk with the Lord on October 28, 2021.
Pat was born in Seattle on August 5, 1933 and spent her early years in Ballard with her two brothers, Don and Dill and sister Bernadette.
She attended Holy Names Academy, where she still rem1ained friends with many of her classmates. She became an associate in the architectural firm of Ralph Anderson and worked there for many years. Later she became the director of St Francis House, a Catholic humanitarian organization while raising 8 children with Roger in their Queen Anne house.
Pat loved to travel and enjoyed the outdoors. She was an avid gardener as well a passionate quilter. Many loved her beautiful intricate quilts she made over the years.
Pat moved to Ida Culver House in Greenwood where she continued her love for gardening and creating many friendships. Her balcony was filled with beautiful array of color to share with those who passed by.
Pat is preceded in death by her parent’s, Don and Bergetta McClory, her husband, Roger Cavin, and son Daniel Lyons. Her surviving children are Sheela, Tom, Jody, Susan, Kathleen, Sherry and Kevin as well as her wonderful daughters-in-law and sons-in-law. Together, Roger and Pat had 19 grand children and 30 great grand children, and many extended family.
You will be missed mom; may you rest in peace.
