Charles Kenneth Norick
Charles Kenneth Norick (“Ken”), age 85, died peacefully on August 3, 2021 following a long illness. Ken was a devoted husband to retired elementary school teacher Mary Elizabeth Davis, father to Linda and Pamela, and step-father to Kimberly. Ken is also survived by four grandchildren, Rose, Austin, Sean and Morgan.
Ken, who served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Hawaii, enjoyed a successful career first in aviation, and later in construction and logging. He was an avid sailor and pilot. He and Mary spent their retirement years sailing around the Pacific Northwest, through the San Juan Islands, the Puget Sound, and Lake Washington. Ken was also a devoted photographer, creating a beautiful library of photographs of family and nature. He and Mary shared homes in Sequim and Kirkland.
A memorial service will be held on the Dungeness Spit on the Olympic Peninsula.
