She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kate we love and miss you with all our hearts.
Kate was a sweet, funny and incredibly brave young woman. She dedicated her professional career to the safety of the most vulnerable of children. She leaves behind many who admired and cared for her. She was an example of bravery, dignity and determination in the face of adversity and will be sorely missed.

Love and Miss you Kate!
Kate was my desk neighbor at work, and I miss her terribly. She is a huge loss to her coworkers, and the children of the State of Washington. Hoping you’re soring on angel’s wings, Kate. We love you!
Gentle, patient, incredibly hardworking; full of goodwill and professional integrity. We were privileged to have her as a colleague.
Oh Kate, I miss you dearly. You helped me so much personally and professionally. The advice and tips you had for my Mom have been a great assistance to her, and now they serve my sister as well. THANK YOU!
I feel honored to have met Kate and be trained by her. She was a kind soul who really devoted her life’s work to others and took her responsibilities so very seriously. She was always so very kind and funny in her attitude and it was an inspiration that she met these life challenges with such beauty and grace. She was a teacher in her good attitude and it is a shock to us all that she has departed this earth so young. My condolences to her family and close friends.
Oh, Kate. I miss you. I miss your great sense of humor and how much we love, “The Fault in our Stars”. To quote, “the universe is not a wish granting factory”, but I wish it were. Thank you for being you and I am so saddened you are gone way too soon and suddenly.
