We knew Hector for over 10 years at Gold Creek Tennis Club. He is a very good player and always unselfishly organized the court time for us. we will always remember him fondly when we step onto the court.

Dear Tita Nita, cousins and family,
So sorry for your loss. Words truly cannot describe the sorrow and mourning we share. We hope that knowing that we are with you in grief (even at a great distance apart) will strengthen and support you during this difficult time.
Tito Hector will be sorely missed. The little time we were able to spend with him and Tita were memorable and will always be cherished by Indra and I. He had a calming presence and a wisdom I admired. We connected in the love for sport, and tennis in particular- he wanted to know where he could play when he came to visit us here!
His likeness to Lolo (and Lola) is uncanny! And his demeanour also reflected them so closely! His determination and fighting spirit especially in these recent months reminded me of that.
May God bless him and may he rest in peace.
With all our love and prayers,
Jesse, Indra and AJ.

My Dearest Nitz,
I KNOW THIS MESSAGE CAME TOO LATE. LOOKING BACK, I CALLED YOU ONCE WHEN I WAS IN SEATTLE. I TRAVELLED A LOT BECAUSE OF MY JOB. I CALLED YOU UP BUT KUYA HECKIE
TOLD ME THAT YOU WERE TIRED AND IN BED. HIS VOICE WAS DIFFERENT. I WANTED US TO MEET SO I CAN GIVE YOU SOME GOODIES. THEN, I GOT AN EMAIL FROM CHRIS AND CIELO INFORMING ME ABOUT THE DEMISE OF KUYA HECKIE. I WAS SHOCKED. HE WAS A VERY RESPECTABLE MAN. I SAY THAT BECAUSE WE TALKED SEVERAL TIMES EVEN THOUGH I AM NO LONGER PART OF THE FAMILY. HE WAS POLITE. NO SARCASM.
MY CONDOLENCES AND I HOPE YOU ARE ALRIGHT. I TRIED TO FIND YOUR PHONE NUMBER BUT I FAILED. I AM NOW RETIRED AND OLD. MY HUSBAND IS ABOUT TO JOIN OUR CREATOR BECAUSE OF THE BIG C. IN CASE YOU READ THIS, I WOULD LIKE US TO TALK. I AM AVAILABLE 24-7. MY PHONE NUMBER IS 281) 707-2663.
BLESS,
BABY
I just learned of my friend Hector’s passing and wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to the family. This one hurts my heart. He was such a great and kind hearted person. He had a fantastic sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was truly a once in a lifetime kind of person. I hired him as a Proposal Manager and was blown away by his ferocious work ethic and ability to stay calm under very trying circumstances. RIP my friend. I hope to see you again on the other side as I know you are in a wonderful place.
