Carol White
It is with great sadness that the family of Carol (Bley) White announces her passing. Beloved mother, grandmother and retired barber, Carol died peacefully at home in Seattle on September 20, 2018. Daughter of Fred and Lorraine Bley who preceded her in death, she is survived by her children Justin White, Jade Steury and Jocie White, grandchildren Daniel and Phoenix, great-grandchildren Jude, Jaedyn and Amiya, sisters Bobbie and Dixie and brother Mike. Carol was born and raised in Spokane but spent the last half of her life in Seattle with her late husband Daniel until his passing in 1991. Known for her beauty and gorgeous long red hair, Carol was the life of any party and strong and courageous for her petite size. She loved to laugh, dance and enjoy time with her close family and friends. But most of all Carol was a sweetheart who loved being a comforting, nonjudgmental ear for all who needed advice, or just to talk. She will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
Carol’s Celebration of Life in the Seattle area will be held on October 13, 2018 from 1 to 4PM at Carol’s daughter, Jocie’s house.
Another Celebration of Life will be held on October 20, 2018 from 12 to 4PM at Kalispel Golf & Country Club 2010 W. Waikiki Rd., Spokane, WA 99218.

We absolutely adored Carol and will miss her forever. We had such wonderful times and crazy wild silly fun. Chuck the dancer, as we all call him, would wear me out and I would turn him over to Carol for the rest of the night! Rest in Peace our dear beautiful friend
Nanny Carol was a light in every life she entered. I’m forever grateful to have shared her wisdom and love, and for it to live on inside all of us. May she rest as peacefully as she lived ❤️
We will be thinking of you all as you celebrate Carol’s life. A life well lived!
We hope it helps bring healing to all who knew her and loved her. You are especially in our thoughts and prayers, Jocie.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all who knew Carol. An amazing woman and a live well lived.
Although I haven’t seen Carol for years, I remember how fun she was in high school. To her family, may your memories of her specialness be a comfort to you.
