Henry M. Petersen

Henry M Petersen a.k.a. “Pete” passed away on December 12, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Henry was 84 years old.

Henry was born to Aksel and Lillian Mae Petersen on January 8, 1933 in Waterville, WA. He was raised in Winthrop, WA along with his seven siblings.
After graduating high school Henry join the Navy where he served his country for 5 1/2 years. After leaving the Navy Henry worked in the aerospace industry for 44 years.
Henry was married to his beautiful wife Sharen of 57 years, they raised their five children in Kirkland ,WA before retiring to Monroe,WA.

Henry is survived by his wife Sharen, his three daughters Shelly Petersen, Shelby Petersen, and Shari Stanley along with 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by his son Steven Petersen in 2010 and daughter Sheila Hofmann in 2000.

The family will have a private service for the immediate family on December 15, 2017 and they will have another for friends and distant family in January 2018.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Monroe fire department.
