Patricia Ann Price
“Pat was a loving wife, mother, sister,
Grandmother, aunt and friend. “
Patricia went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on September 8, 2016 after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 82 years young and died in her hometown of Kirkland, Washington with her family by her side.
Born December 2, 1933 to Charles and Margaret Middleton, Pat grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She was active in Girl Scouts and her church, loved to dance and played the piano. In February of 1941, she and her parents welcomed her brother David Charles Middleton into the world. Living in Milwaukee, there were plenty of ice skating and hay rides with friends to keep her busy. She also loved going to the shows (movies), roller skating and bowling.
Pat had a great love for God, family and friends. She enjoyed reading, was an excellent cook and could make the most mouth-watering pies! Among her favorite pastimes were: knitting, going with Dale to the theater, square dancing, holding babies (of course!), cheering on her Seattle Seahawks and Mariners and luncheons out with her friends. She was always busy working after her children were grown and volunteering her time for many worthwhile causes; the last being for The Seattle Children ‘s Guild.
Patricia was a member of Westminster Chapel of Bellevue and before that attended Rose Hill Presbyterian Church in Kirkland. Romans 8:31: “If God is for us who can be against us? ” was one of her favorite bible verses. She truly lived the Word of God in her grace and genuine caring for all the people she met and loved. She also had a smile that would light up the room!
Pat is survived by Dale, her husband of 47 years, children; Ellen, Mary (Scott), David, Jim and Ann (Todd), brother; Dave (Sharon) Middleton, step-children; Dale (Debra), Dianna and Caroline (John), six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews and so many wonderful friends!
She was preceded in death by her parents. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Evergreen Health Hospice Care for taking such good care of her. We would also like to thank the Madison House in Kirkland staff and friends ~ she loved you all.
A memorial service will be held for Pat on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Westminster Chapel in Bellevue, Washington. 13646 NE 24′” St., Bellevue, WA 98005.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seattle Children’s Hospital.

I love the 2 photos you chose of your sweet mother for her obituary. She was a beautiful and loving Christian. Hugs to all 5 of you children.
It is rare in life to find a friend who is a soul mate in every way. Pat and I were that for 35 years. We shared many joys and sorrows over the years. She will be remembered with love and she will live in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to have known her.
What a lovely tribute for an absolutely lovely person. I love the picture you all chose of Pat, it is truly how I remember her and want to remember her. She was a wonderful friend to my mom and all that had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be missed. RIP Pat

It’s probably not often that mother in laws are considered to be good friends but that’s the way we felt about each other. All of your friends and family will miss you but know that you are now at peace and pain free. Love to you…donation in your name to Seattle Children’s Hospital.
You were the best thing that ever happened to this family. I sure love you mom…
