Chapels Available for Funeral Services

Churches are great places to have funeral services but not everyone has a church affiliation. When the deceased has been a member of a church congregation and the family has been informed of the funeral plans, a funeral is quite uncomplicated. We regularly coordinate funerals with the deceased’s priest, bishop, minister, etc. to schedule funerals and viewings at their church.

But if the deceased or family members have no affiliation, they are often at a loss to know where to turn Often they just rely on the funeral home to take care of the details and pay whatever it takes.

Barton Family Funeral Services has chosen not to own or maintain expensive chapels in order to offer our services at very low prices. It is far more cost effective to arrange for a chapel located close to where the family of the deceased resides or in some convenient location for visitors from out of town. There are also Grange Halls, Community Centers, Women’s Clubs, Masonic Halls, and many other good locations to hold a funeral. If the number of people is not large, a home funeral can be an excellent choice. We have found churches and halls that rent their facilities at very reasonable prices compared to what the average funeral home would charge for their mortuary chapels. Below we are assembling photos of some of the chapels and halls we regularly use for people who do not have an affiliation.
