Louise Marguerite Ames Hutmacher
Louise Marguerite Ames Hutmacher was born July 24th 1927 in Los Angeles, California and passed away peacefully on Saturday February 13th 2016 in Seattle, Washington. She was surrounded in her last days by her loving family. Louise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her children, Robin, Carolyn (Marvin), David (Joan), John (Barbara), Mark, Step-Children Jay Kelley Hutmacher & Jamie Kelley Sanderson, Her 14 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren. Louise is Proceeded in death by her Husband John Phillip Hutmacher.
Louise Graduated as a Registered Nurse from Seattle Pacific University October 15th 1948. Louise Practiced as an RN in Homer, Anchorage, and Juneau Alaska. She moved with her children to Seattle, Washington in 1965 where she worked at Children’s Hospital. On March 7th 1966 she began working at Virginia Mason Hospital and Clinic, retiring August 30th 1996 in the Asthma & Allergy Lab. Louise found reward in her work as a nurse and was a dedicated mentor to the ranks of new and young over many years
Louise had a strong sense of family and was a dependable and constant presence for friends and neighbors in time of need. She will be remembered for her love, kindness & generosity.
