Timothy Martin Carroll

October 15, 1945-August 20, 2015

After a seventeen year battle with cancer, Timothy “Tim” Carroll died peacefully and surrounded by love at home on August 20, 2015, to join his beloved wife of 36 years, Arlene.

Tim was born in San Diego, California to Martin and Anne (O’Donnell) Carroll.  After graduating from Queen Anne High School in Seattle, WA in 1964, he served in the Army in Vietnam.  Tim followed in his father’s footsteps and became a plumber.  He served over 40 years in the Local 32 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union.  Tim was involved in many of the Seattle area’s major construction projects including the Meydenbauer Center, University of Washington campuses, local hospitals, office buildings and hotels.

Tim loved spending time with his family and friends.  He hosted large family parties, assisted with numerous home improvement and automotive projects, and watching Mariners, Seahawks and Husky football games.  Tim designed and built his own home and shop in Duvall, WA.  He was incredibly proud of the many accomplishments of his three daughters.  He enjoyed his retirement years spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Tim is survived by his daughters Theresa (Gordon) Edwards, Anne M. Carroll and Jessica Carroll, grandchildren Maureen, Joelle and Walter Edwards, his mother Anne M. Carroll, his siblings and spouses Sheila (Bill) Kini, Eileen Carroll (Ray Kehl), Geraldine Ingalls (David), John Carroll (Marinelly), Maureen Wallwork (Buster), Patrick Carroll, Marty Carroll, Colleen Holbrook (Chuck), Bridget Tynanes (Maurice), and Michael Carroll (Jeannie Sargent) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his wife Arlene (Dompier) Carroll, his father Martin E. Carroll, and sisters Cathleen Sarrett and Annie Carroll.

We will miss him so very much, but will be comforted by our many happy memories and his smile, laugh, and the twinkle in his eyes.

Burial will be with Military Honors at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA with a Celebration of Life to follow.
