The happiness I’ve known could not have been possible without Lloyd. He left me with memories I’ll cherish forever. We went to baseball games, fishing, boat races; he filled the freezer with TV dinners when we were on our own. The good I’ve done in life owes a debt to Lloyd. He made the world a better place and for that all can be thankful.
I’ll end with something Lloyd wrote me: ‘My prayer for you is that God will give you peace for the loss of your dad.’
Lloyd raised two fine sons and for that we can all be thankful and hope in their memories of their dad they can find peace.

I was so shocked to hear that Lloyd had passed away …
i had just been to Evergreen and saw him and only days later i learned that he was gone ! i am so very sad …
I always looked forward to seeing him when i’d visit our remaining friends at Evergreen and his warm hearted easy going way . I knew he was in more pain than he showed , but he was such a very modest man with such inner strength & he never complained although i could see the pain beneath his pleasant demeanor …
He was our very good friend for as long as we knew him at Evergreen Retirement where my Mama also lived and she passed away one year & 7 months ago & my Papa passed away this past December so it has been very hard …
So many others have passed on too whom we had gotten to know & grow very fond of , so it will be a great reunion with Lloyd and all of our other loved ones & Veterans whom we loved & respected up in the Sweet bye & bye where we shall all meet on that beautiful shore ..

oh i had gotten to know Margie too and she is a beautiful sweet lady & was a shining light for him & i am sure
she is heartbroken now … i extend my love and blessings here today for the Family & Best Friends he leaves behind
& even though i will miss him ~ i am so thankful to God
that i got to rub shoulders with the best of the best !
A warm Salute to you , Sir Lloyd …
See you in Heaven one day , my Friend
