Gigi Elaine Hooper will be sorely missed by the many friends and family who love her. What a woman! I first met Elaine in Seattle over twenty years ago at our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding reception, where Elaine charmed Ali and Patrick’s college friends and Midshipmen with her stories, her dance moves and her spunky attitude. A few years later in Oregon I was touched by the joy and tenderness Elaine showed when she held her great granddaughter Michaela for the first time. In her 97th year I have appreciated the talks and visits we had on Mercer Island and in Madison Park sharing stories of her family, her quilts, and her life. She was this close to taking a boat ride with Ali and Patrick from the dock out her back door. Happy sailing, Elaine. We will miss you! Love, Lynne and Todd
We love you Grams. Your life was a blessing to us.
