Bhaskar Mama is the heartbeat of any place that he is in — his infectious laughter filling every space he walks into, reminding us all to celebrate life just a little more. He is known for his sudden, spontaneous plans to go out, turning ordinary moments into cherished memories. Family lies at the centre of his world; whenever Jingle Akka, Pinky Akka, or Tiny Akka come down, he makes it a point to bring everyone together, ensuring no one is missed and that our family bonds remain strong and alive. His love for life, people, and togetherness reflects in everything he does. This tribute is a small acknowledgment of a man who teaches us, simply by being himself, to laugh freely, live fully, and hold our family close. You will be missed, mama but the heaven has become a little bit more fun as you are there and everyone there will be enjoying your warm hugs.
What a Towering and Loving Personality!

Thanking God for his life. Our prayers are with the family and loved ones for Gods peace and love to surround them as they grieve.
He was a role model to all loving husbands in the world. Let his soul rest in peace in the hands od God.
Chithappa, you were the heartbeat of every room you entered,
every space coming alive with your presence,
calling us to celebrate life a little more than planned.
With sudden ideas,
you turned ordinary days
into stories we return to again and again,
always smiling.
Family was your centre—
the quiet strength that kept you grounded.
You gathered everyone close,
making sure no one was left out,
no bond loosened, no love forgotten.
Now I trust you are in heaven, Chithappa,
with your loved ones, rejoicing and praising God
in His holy presence.
He was Very humble, humane and a caring person. Protector of his family and friends. A great visionary and towering leader, contributing value to the organisational growth and success. He lived his purpose

Dear uncle,
Your joie de vivre was contagious. We have been touched by your hospitality and enthusiasm. You were a perfect host. We have all enjoyed your delightful story- telling and infectious laughter. You were a rock and the world to your three princesses. To your grandkids you were a king and a playmate all in one. You always made us feel so special. So blessed to have tasted your love and your fabulous biriyani. Your live and legacy will be cherished by us all forever.
May you rest in the arms of Jesus until we meet again

Rest in peace, Mr Sargunar, till we meet again on the other shore.
I thank God for bringing Baskar into our family. What a joy it was to have him around. He would lift our spirits up, tease us, and bring such laughter into family gatherings. A faithful husband to my late cousin Suhasini, a doting father to his girls Sukanya, Divya and Sandya, a loving father-in-law to his sons-in-laws and a treasure of a grandfather to his precious grandchildren,I know he will be greatly missed. Thank you Lord for his life. Good bye for now!
Bhasker annan is so respectful and kind. He visited my mother regularly every time he visited India. She would let me know of his visit with so much pride. He became a part of our family when my sister married Suhasini acca’s brother Augustine. So much grace will be missed by us all. May he rest in peace in the arms of our Lord
I have only limited contact with Mr. Philip. By this limited knowledge I agree that whatever is said in the introduction given by you is correct.
Difficult to believe that Mr Sargunar has left his earthly home. He was an excellent boss and I am really grateful to have worked with him. I learnt and understood many valuable aspects in life. He was a man of integrity and discipline, very family oriented and had a good sense of humor too. He had a warm and kind heart…very humane. The jewel in the crown of all his excellent characteristics was his unwavering faith in our Almighty God. He and Mrs Suhasini Sargunar dedicated their lives to God..not only in showing the love of God but in sharing it with everyone, be it family or friend. There’s rejoicing in heaven for sure but you are missed here. Sincere condolences to their loving daughters, sons in law and grandchildren. Rest in peace Mr Sargunar 🌹🙏🌹
A supreme personality whom I admire well.
It was our privilege being his family Auditor for the past five decades since 1973
We lost a unique feather from our Cap of PV Kandaswamy & Co, Chartered Accountants Chennai
I lost the privilege of saying anymore that Mr PAB is our client. One of our biggest loss in the recent past.
Mrs PAB and PAB both were very close to our heart during their association with us, Hope the same would continue even to their three daughters family.
May the humble souls always rest in peace.

We had the privilege of meeting uncle about a year ago at Church with Sudeep and Suhanya. From the get go, his energy was unmatched and we built a beautiful bonding. The quality that stood out the most with uncle was that he was a straight shooter in words and speaks his heart which is very rare to find. His love towards his children, grand children and family was something that came out in every conversation. We know that uncle is in a better place and we have the hope that we will see him when we enter glory. Our sincere condolences to the family. May his soul rest in peace!
We have fond memories of spending time with Bhaskar Annan and Suhasini acca in Mumbai. Bhaskar Annan would meticulously arrange everything for a get together. He was always cheerful and positive and a wonderful companion to Dear Suhasini acca. He loves meeting people and took care of everyone. His laughter and happiness will always be remembered. He has travelled extensively in the U. S.and brought up his children and grandchildren in the fear of the Lord. In January 2018 Suhasini acca and Bhaskar Annan came to meet us in the Y.W.C.A. in Chennai. Jingle,Pinky and Tiny are truly blessed to have such wonderful God fearing parents who have inculcated good values in them. The most remarkable thing about the family is their simplicity and humility. Bhaskar Annan occupied an esteemed position in his organisation but he was so humble, caring and loving. Let us praise and thank God for his beautiful life on this earth 🙏.

Philip Uncle was known for his kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering belief in God. From the moment I married into the Sargunar family twenty years ago, Suhasini Aunty and he showed me nothing but kindness, warmth, and acceptance, making me feel truly welcomed and cherished as family. He was deeply loved for the care, guidance, and encouragement he so freely gave. Rooted firmly in Christian values, he lived his life guided by faith, compassion, and humility.
He leaves behind a legacy of faith and love that will continue to inspire his family and all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
It has been a profound honor to serve Mr. Philip Sargunar for the past 22 years. To us, he was more than a client; he was a mentor and a father figure. Over the last two decades, our ‘investment meetings’ evolved into lifelong friendships covering everything from politics to personal growth. We will be eternally grateful to both Sir and Madam for welcoming us as part of the family. The void he leaves behind is immense, but his influence on our lives is permanent. Our thoughts are with his family, whom we will continue to serve with the same dedication. May his soul rest in peace.
Grounded in faith, loving, jolly, generous, and deeply compassionate, Chittappa made our childhood so full of joy and unforgettable memories. He was a pillar of strength and a constant source of encouragement to us all, always reminding us to hope, to look for the positives, and to keep a hopeful heart. He quietly fostered strong family bonds and was a wonderful example to us all of how to lead and nurture a family with love.
He taught us to trust in God, to obey His will, and to live faithfully in all circumstances. I had the privilege of being loved by him like one of his daughters — helping me step out of my comfort zone, encouraging me, and cheering me on every step of the way.
We will hold and cherish these precious memories, even as we feel his absence deeply in our midst.
In Loving memory of our dear brother Baskar Annan,
“If Iam a raindrop in a shower,
I will seek to be atleast a
perfect drop.
If but a leaf in a whole June,
I will seek atleast to be a
perfect leaf.”
This thing Baskar Annan did.
He seeked to Excel & he excelled.
In his presence was always
fullness of joy and
uncontrollable laughter.
His heart was big and his love
for his family was unwavering.
His joy, kindness and faith will
live on in all of us.
May his memory forever be a
blessing to us all.
“WELL DONE, GOOD AND FAITHFULL
SERVANT.” ( Matthew 25:23)
Dear Baskar Uncle,
We thank God for your life and the love you poured into everyone around you. What we admired greatly about you was how deeply rooted you were in your faith and your love for Jesus.
As a newly married couple we felt so welcomed, blessed and at ease through every conversation and over every meal we shared together.
Uncle, your life leaves a legacy of faith and love that will remain with us always.
“The memory of the righteous is a blessing.” (Proverbs 10:7)
With love & gratitude,
Joe & Rhea

I thank God for the life of our beloved Brother Philip Sargunar. We were able to cherish wonderful fellowship while we were worshipping together in Tamil Methodist Church, Parel, Mumbai. Being the Pastor I can say with confidence about his life. He was known for his generosity towards the mission and cordiality in maintaining affectionate relationship with everyone. Moreover he used to make his presence felt by his humorous way of speech and everyone could enjoy his fellowship. Thank God for a man of God like him.
When Sister Suhasini was not keeping well, I visited and prayed with them at their Chennai residence. He and Sister sang many spiritual songs and posted in the “Christian Spiritual Music” group. Many were edified. He took initiative and added me in the group. Our fellowship got strengthened once again from that time onwards. Though I am sad, I say Bye Bye to our beloved Brother as he will be enjoying the fellowship with God without any interruption. I pray that our loving Lord will console the bereaved hearts of Suhanya, Divya and Sandya and all the family members.
A practising Christian. His sense of humor, culinary skills, constructive critisms and sincere advice and prayers. Still numbness about his demise is choking me.His life is a testimony from which I have learnt much. Only the Lord can console Jingle Pinky and Tiny and their families.

I don’t see my message. So sending again. A practising Christian. Lovely sense of humor, excellent culinary skills, constructive criticism with our welfare being the only intention, well read, uniqueness that the same love for his immediate family was given to the extended family as well. The numbness of his sudden demise is choking my flow of words. Only the Lord can console Jingle Pinky and Tiny and their families. I have learned from his testimony and wish to adhere to it.
Baskar annan is a loving and caring person. He makes everyone feel comfortable. His character is as tall as his physical appearance. When I was in need, just a call and both akka & annan were there with me in the hospital and took control of the situation . He never misses to visit us as well as make sure to bring his daughters & family when they visit Chennai. He will even spend time with my dad who is 98yrs. Used to play carom with him. He can make you feel at home wherever he is. God be the comfort and strength to Suhaniya, Divya and Sandhiya.
When Ebby organised for us to meet with Baskar Anna and his family in Seattle, little did Richard and I understand the significance of that occasion, other than both cousins had not met each other for decades. Baskar Anna and Suhasini Akka invited us with so much warmth, and over a cooking demonstration of mutton biriyani, and reminiscences and anecdotes, the decades of separation quietly crumbled. The icing on the cake was meeting Sandhya, Divya and their families. We ate, we laughed, we prayed, we played, Richard twanged the guitar as the children sang Christmas carols – ah…such pleasant memories.
It was Almighty’s plan to guide us towards this connection – because since then, he has recalled Suhasini Akka, our dear Ebby, and now Baskar Anna to his Kingdom.
Dearest Suhanya, Sandhya, Divya – I hope you take solace in the memories that Baskar Anna has left behind, along with his legacy of faith and family – that will certainly pass down generations.
We thank God for Baskar’s life. May his soul now rest in peace.
