We mourn the passing of our beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Patricia Ann Simon.

Pat was born on April 29, 1949, to loving parents Patricia and Frank Bulzomi in Seattle, Washington, and was the oldest of twelve children. She developed strong leadership and nurturing instincts early in life, often helping to guide and protect her younger siblings.

Gifted both academically and musically, Pat excelled in school and enjoyed playing piano with her mother and in many recitals. Her sharp mind and curiosity made her a lifelong learner who could master nearly anything she set her mind to.

Pat’s life was not without sorrow. Her only child, Cynthia, passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at just two months old — a loss that shaped her deeply. Heartbroken, she moved to Los Angeles for several years, later returning to Seattle, where she remained close to her family.

Pat eventually pursued her lifelong dream of studying law, earning her degree from Seattle University School of Law and being admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2004, at age 54. She became a valued attorney at Messina Bulzomi Christensen, where her intelligence, compassion, and dedication earned the admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

She provided pro bono legal services, volunteered with the King County Bar Association’s Neighborhood Legal Clinic, assisted new citizens through Citizenship Day events, and supported the arts as a volunteer at ACT Theatre.

In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, music, needlework, salsa dancing, and spending time with friends and family. She cherished her relationships with her siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and friends, all of whom brought her tremendous joy throughout her life.

Her final challenge arose when she developed pneumonia, bravely enduring several weeks of treatment and hospitalization before passing on October 31, 2025.

Pat will be laid to rest with her beloved daughter, Cynthia, at Calvary Cemetery. She was predeceased by her parents, Patricia and Frank Bulzomi; her brothers, Frank and Jim Bulzomi; and her sisters, Jeanie and Kathy Bulzomi. She is survived by her sisters, Barbara Bulzomi, Colleen Comidy, and Rosie Volpone; her brothers, Mike, Steve, Mark, and Richard Bulzomi; nine nieces and nephews; and three great-nephews.

A Rosary will be held at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Our hearts are broken as we grieve her loss, but her brilliance, generosity, and love will forever remain in our hearts.
