A lifelong educator, learner, and friend to so many, our beloved Mom and Grammy, Shirley, has left us. She was loved and respected by countless people whose lives she touched with wisdom, humor, and heart.
In true Shirley fashion, she didn’t want a funeral – she wanted a “big ass party.” We’ll celebrate her beautiful life this spring, just as she wished.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Shirley by taking care of a child this season – with food, clothing, and hugs.
Rest in peace Momma ❤︎

Wow, so hard to hear! We loved Shirley, so bright and funny. She will be truly missed.
Shirley was loved by many. Students she had years ago continually ask me about her. What a friend to her students and fellow staff members. She set a great example for many of us.
She raised two beautiful girls who she loved to brag about. I will keep smiling just as she did. ❤️
