I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Lavons. I had the privilege of meeting her several times over the years, and she always left a lasting impression on me with her kindness, warmth, and generosity. She was an exceptionally talented cook, and I fondly remember the delicious cookies she often brought to my uncle’s home, which we all enjoyed together. She was also a wonderfully friendly and engaging person—our conversations about travel were always delightful. One of my dearest memories is from my niece’s birthday, where Lavons was joyfully dancing and spreading happiness to everyone around her. She will always be remembered for her gentle spirit, her warmth, and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her. My heartfelt condolences to the family during this difficult time.

    I’m sorry for your loss.
I still remember when your mom took Durant and I to California. That was a great time.
I will miss talking to my Aunt.
    Love,
    Devin
