Lynn Ann Nelson
October 15, 1962 – August 1, 2025
Our beloved Lynn Ann Nelson went home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2025, at the age of 62, after fighting cancer with the most beautiful spirit, courageous smile, and steadfast faith. She was the most loving woman, the brightest light, a true angel on earth—and now in heaven.
Born on Mercer Island, Washington, Lynn spent her entire life in the Pacific Northwest, where her roots and her heart were firmly planted. She married the love of her life, Dean Nelson, in Woodinville, and together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. Lynn’s proudest role was being “Mom” to her two daughters, Candace (29) and Sabrina (28), whom she raised in Snohomish.
Lynn cherished her happy place—Lake Chelan. It was where she felt most at peace, surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation, sunshine on her face, and water sparkling all around her. It was the backdrop for countless family memories that will be treasured forever.
She was everything God created a woman, mother, and wife to be: loving, supportive, strong, faithful, and deeply devoted to the Lord. Her faith was her foundation, guiding her through every season of life with grace and gratitude.
She was also “Grandma” to her greatest joys—her 14-month-old granddaughter Liberty, with another granddaughter expected in January (Sabrina) and a grandson due in February (Candace). She could not wait to welcome these precious blessings into the world.
Lynn had the gift of making everyone feel like they mattered. She made people feel seen, supported, and loved unconditionally. Her kindness was genuine, her joy contagious, and her hugs unforgettable. Whether sharing coffee with a friend, encouraging someone through a hard time, or celebrating life’s little victories, Lynn left every heart better than she found it.
She leaves behind her loving husband Dean, her daughters Candace and Sabrina, her granddaughter Liberty, her soon-to-arrive grandchildren, and countless family and friends who will carry her light forward. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we rejoice knowing she is home with Jesus, whole and radiant.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 24th, from 1–4 PM at Thomas Family Farm – Crossroads Events in Snohomish. We ask that you honor Lynn’s vibrant spirit by wearing bright colors. Beer, wine, and light bites will be served as we gather to share stories, laughter, and love in her memory.
