“A life well-lived leaves a trail of beautiful memories.”

Paul G. Osterbeck
Paul G. Osterbeck, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at the age of 85.
Born in Saginaw, Michigan, Paul was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan — a lifelong Wolverine who never missed a chance to say, “Go Blue!”
Paul dedicated his career to excellence as a Manager and Aeronautical Engineer at Boeing, where he brought his brilliant mind and steady leadership to every challenge.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann (Nolan) Osterbeck, and is survived his brother Richard Osterbeck of Quanicassee, Michigan and by Paul’s devoted wife of 25 years, Debbie Osterbeck, with whom he shared a remarkable life filled with joy, love, and unforgettable travels. Together, they made Poipu, Kauai their second home — a special place of laughter, sunsets, and peace.
Paul’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He is lovingly remembered by:
- Brother – Richard Osterbeck
- Wife – Debbie Osterbeck
- Son – Brian Osterbeck
- Son and Daughter In – Law – Andrew & Sheila Osterbeck
- Son and Daughter In – Law – David & Corin Osterbeck
- Stepson and Daughter In – Law – Jeff & Becky Kingman
- Grandchildren: Anna, Laurel, March, Ellis, Poppy, and Oliver
Paul embraced every moment of life. He found happiness skiing snowy peaks, exploring nature, and capturing it all through the lens of his camera. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his love for those around him.
Paul’s legacy is one of strength, kindness, curiosity, and deep love.
He will be missed dearly and remembered always.
Celebrating the Journey
May we honor Paul’s memories by living with joy, exploring the world with wonder, and holding those we love a little closer.

Knowing Paul and having the opportunity to be a part of his life has been an honor. I will forever be grateful for his kindness and brilliance. I will miss our chats about aviation. We love you Paul.
I new Paul almost sixty years as a friend and fellow aerodynamicist at Boeing. We worked together from time to time and even consulted togetherfor Northrop Grumman after we retired. The most fun thing we did together was coaching Daid and Andrew’s soccer Team. A really great person.
Paul you will be missed deeply as a member of our family it’s been a great pleasure to get to know your family and welcome them into ours. Thank you for all your love and caring of Debbie.

I met and worked with Paul on the Joint Strike Fighter program so many years ago. I will remember him fondly when the Wolverine’s are playing, and take comfort knowing he is still cheering, Go Blue!!!
Sending you all so much love and support.
