Bonnie J. Herrling was born April 26, 1933 and passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025 at the age of 92.

She dedicated much of her career to the City of Redmond, where coworkers remember her for her sharp memory and close attention to detail.

After retiring, Bonnie volunteered at the local elementary schools, patiently helping young children improve their reading skills to help them build lifelong literacy skills.

A lover of words and puzzles, Bonnie could often be found with a pencil in hand tackling the most challenging crosswords, piecing together a 1,000-piece jigsaw, or quietly reading the morning newspaper or latest novel with a fresh cup of tea at her side.
