Rockwell (“Rock”) Bybee
Rockwell Bybee passed on March 18th, 2025 at the age of 78. Best known as “Papa Rock”, Rock was a caring man who brightened the lives of everyone he met. Rock was a giving man whose loss is greatly felt.
Rock served in the United States Navy between 1967 and 1971, where he served in the Vietnam War. He was also the proud owner of EMER Northwest for many years where he worked with local firehouses to fix EMT equipment.
Rock was an avid football fan and 4-wheeler. He was also an excellent golfer who shared his love for the sport with his two granddaughters. He could frequently be found playing the greens of the Walter Hall Golf Course. One of his proudest accomplishments was his several hole-in-ones on the course.
Rock is lovingly remembered by his wife Jeanne Bybee, daughter Juliet Ostler, granddaughters Karalyn and Michelle Ostler and brother Sander Bybee.
