Gordon McCleary Carpenter, 68, of Woodinville, WA, was called home to be with Jesus on February 16, 2025. Born on August 13, 1956, in Caliente, Nevada, Gordon led a life filled with love, hard work, and devotion to his family.

Gordon was a beloved husband to Dorothy Carpenter for 48 years, and a proud father to Karla & Gabe, Michael & Sarah, and Jacob & Briana Carpenter. He was also a devoted grandfather to his eight cherished grandchildren: Khloe, Gracie, Owen, Charlie, Ruby, Rayla, Kiara, and Byron, who will always carry his memory in their hearts.

A hard-working and dedicated individual, Gordon spent 30 years as a Teamster with Dallas & Mavis, piggybacking semis. Gordon enjoyed coaching baseball, softball and basketball, contributing to his community with pride.

Gordon’s hobbies and interests reflected the depth of his character. He treasured spending time with family and friends, always making time for music, golf, and trips to the beach. He was known for his love of working on projects, always lending a helping hand to those in need. His passion for the Seahawks, Huskies, and Mariners became a special connection shared with his wife and children, and these memories will remain with them forever.

Those who knew Gordon will forever remember him as the “go-to” person when life became challenging. He was a pillar of strength and comfort, offering sound advice and wisdom without judgment. A straight shooter, he made sure to always get his point across in a way that left others feeling understood and supported.

Gordon will be deeply missed by all who loved him. His legacy of love, loyalty, and strength will continue to guide his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held when the sun is out in May.
