We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sue Lynn Lee, age 68, on December 9, 2024. During a seven-week-long vacation through Southeast Asia, Sue passed away unexpectedly in her birth country of Cambodia.

Sue was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a doting grandmother. Her kindness and generosity were unparalleled, and she was cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. With an infectious smile and a gift for making others feel loved and welcome, Sue touched countless lives. She took immense pride in her family and dedicated much of her life to serving and feeding those around her.

Sue is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Ryan; their three children, Wendy (Brandon), Marlena (Mike), and Alan (Crys); and their seven grandchildren: Claire (15), Colin (13), Ryan (10), Matthew (9), Ethan (7), Samuel (7), and Juniper (6). She is also survived by her eldest sister in Cambodia, an older sister in Germany, a younger sister in Germany, and a younger brother in Germany.

Sue’s generous, loving, fun, and thoughtful nature will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Funeral Service Details

A funeral service to honor Sue’s beautiful life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Bellevue, WA Stake Building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (14536 Main Street, Bellevue, WA 98007). The schedule is as follows:

• 9:00 AM: Viewing
• 10:00 AM: Service
• A reception with lunch will follow at the same location.

The burial will take place at 2:00 PM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park (1575 145th Place SE, Bellevue, WA 98007).
