John Michael Bowser
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Bowser on October 24, 2024, at the age of 55. He was born on February 21, 1969, in Tucson, AZ to parents Ronald and Mary Bowser.
By 1979 his family had settled in Renton, WA. John graduated from Renton HS in 1987, where he found his love of running, and his best friends on the HS Cross-Country team.
In 1992 he married his love, Sherry Bowser, and together they moved to Santa Barbara, CA. While there he graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography. One year later they started their family with a son, Michael and later a daughter, Annie. By 2024 they celebrated 32 years of marriage.
His joy in life was being with his family. Taking them hiking, camping, gaming and most especially, to Disney Land. He enjoyed sharing his love of photography and his photos with all who loved him.
John gave up so much to take care of his family, and he continues to do so after his passing. He is survived by his wife Sherry, and his children Michael and Annie. Also, by his mother Mary, sister Sylvia and his Aunt, Uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
John, you were the best in life, and you are loved and missed fiercely. Michael, Annie and I will be OK; you made sure of that.
We love you,
Always!
John’s wishes were to be surrounded by his immediate family, and have his ashes spread on Mt Rainier, where he & Sherry were married. There will be no other services or celebrations of life.

This just isn’t fair. Thumbs down universe. John was nothing but goodness, generosity and kindness. The world is darker without him. There’s nothing I can say to make this better, but you are not alone in your grief. He is sorely missed. Hugs ❤️
