Katie Ballantine, born August 17, 1995, passed away on August 29, 2024. An angel whose life was cut tragically short, Katie will be remembered by all who knew her as an immensely caring, loving, bubbly, and giving individual. She carried her radiant spirit everywhere she went, always ready to illuminate the lives of those around her.

She was a gentle soul whose love knew no bounds. She taught those fortunate enough to know her the invaluable lesson of giving love, regardless of the circumstances. This lesson will continue to guide and inspire those she leaves behind.

image of Katie BallantineAmong her many accomplishments the one that resonates the most is her ability to bring happiness to others. Her infectious laughter, comforting words, and the warmth of her heart provided solace to many. Her kindness not only touched the hearts of those around her but also helped shape their lives.

Throughout her life, Katie always remained a source of strength and inspiration for her mother, and their beautiful bond will forever remain a testament to their love. Alongside her human family, Katie will be missed intensely by her fur babies, whose lives she filled with love, joy, and tender care.

Katie’s legacy is one of love and kindness – a testament to a life well-lived. The echo of her laughter, the warmth of her love, and the strength of her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Even in her absence, she will forever be an embodiment of the love and kindness she gave so freely.

Katie’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Adair House at Anderson Park in Redmond on October 12, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. We spent many of her birthdays there and we feel like it will be a wonderful place for everyone to share in her memories.

I’m sad to hear her passing. I knew her growing up in middle school and was part of my friends group then. She was joyful and loved to talk. We all end up going on adventures which ended up just walking around Redmond during the summer time. I will miss her.
