Stephen Spencer Parcel

Stephen Spencer Parcel, born on April 25, 1939, in Glendale, California, to Mildred and Robert Parcel, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 21, 2024. Steve led a full and impactful life, marked by service, dedication, and a profound love for his family and the outdoors.

Steve served honorably in the Army from 1962 to 1968, a testament to his dedication and patriotism. Following his military service, he embarked on a successful career as a Senior Electronics Engineer at Sunstrand. It was there that he met the love of his life, Beverley, and they married on December 27, 1970.

In 1971, Steve and Beverley moved to Woodinville, WA, where Steve continued his engineering work. Their family grew with the birth of their son Randy in March 1978. Steve was a brilliant and hardworking man, known for his ability to fix anything and his knack for picking up new skills with ease. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for hunting, fishing, and spending time at their Chelan property, where he personally undertook most of the work.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife Beverley, his daughter Michele (David), his sons Doug (Leann) and Randy (Laura), seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. His legacy as a wonderful husband, father, friend, and neighbor will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Steve will be deeply missed by all. His intelligence, hard work, and love for his family and nature will be remembered and cherished forever.

Everyone is invited to memorialize Steve in a Celebration of Life on July 5th from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Bothell Northshore Senior Center, 10201 E Riverside Dr, Bothell, WA 98011
