William James Sornberger
William best known as Bill passed away in Seattle of natural causes due to heart disease. He was born October 27th 1953 at West Seattle Hospital to Mary and Winston Sornberger. He was delivered by favorite Aunt Jessie Anderson Smith.
He attended Fauntleroy elementary school, Denny Middle School and graduated from Chief Sealth High School in 1971. That summer he worked as a fork lift driver and enrolled in community College.
Bill then joined the Army. Sadly at age 19 his hopes and dreams were shattered with the onset of schizophrenia. Despite this illness Bill was a loyal son brother and uncle. He was instrumental in caring for our mother and best babysitter to his nephews and nieces.
Bill wrote a book though not published. His last 10 years were spent at Union Hotel DECS for which I am so thankful. He is survived by his sisters and brothers in law Diann and Chuck Coonfield, Rebecca Doyle and Bill Kitzinger , nephews David Nelson, James Nelson, Charles Coonfield and nieces Shannon Doyle and Chriss Stanley.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Nelson and nephew Chad Doyle.
There will be a celebration of life at Bow Lake Community Club House on October 28th at 2:00 pm
