Janet Ruth Trosvig
Janet Ruth (Renner) Trosvig, 59, of Everett, went home to be with her Savior on Friday, May 27, 2022 in her home.
Born on February 18, 1963 in Rockford, IL, she was the daughter of Robert and Berte (Bolbock) Renner. She attended East High School in Rockford and was a proud graduate of North Park College in Chicago.
Jan married Timothy Trosvig on June 12, 1992. He was the love of her life. Their two children Isaac (Kristen) and Tessa knew they were loved deeply by their mother every day of their lives. Jan was beautiful, creative, fun loving, talented and fiercely loyal. Jan often told her loved ones, “If you want to know how much I love you, count the waves”, as a symbol of her eternal and unconditional love to her family.
Jan is survived by her husband, Timothy, children Isaac (Kristen) Trosvig and Tessa Trosvig; grandsons Maverick and Levi Trosvig; father Robert Renner and sister Marcia (Scott) Johnson. She is also survived by her wonderful extended family including Robert (June) Trosvig, Tammy (Dave) Tilley and Ann (Rich) Weiss.
She also had many adoring nieces and nephews including Claire (Jason) Olson, Erik (Becca) Johnson, avid Johnson, Jordan Tilley, Elizabeth Tilley, Alee Dedrick, Megan Dedrick and Tommy Weiss and grandniece and nephews Jonas, Freya, August and Leland Olson.
She is predeceased by her mother Berte Renner and several aunts and uncles.
Jan loved working with children and taught for over 25 years in elementary education as a teacher. She taught for a few years in Illinois before starting her career at Northshore Christian Academy (Everett, WA) in 1995. Her creativity, attention to detail, compassionate teaching style and love for the mission in Christian education impacted hundreds of children and families over the years. Jan influenced more children’s lives than we may ever know or understand.
Jan found beauty in the world around her and found ways to show her loved ones this beauty through her flower gardens, home decorating, and artwork. While she shared many of her passions with loved ones, the greatest of these was her passion for her Lord and Savior. We know that her legacy will continue and Jan will be remembered for the indescribable love she gave, her incredible laugh, and her love for dancing. We know that she is now dancing with the Father.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Northshore Christian Church on June 4 at 1PM.
In lieu of flowers, the Trosvig Family would like donations to go towards the NCA Thrive Student Tutoring program:

We are very sad to hear of Jan’s passing. She taught our children and they loved her spirit and caring. We’re very sorry for your loss and look forward to the day we will be reunited in Heaven.
So very sorry for your loss. She was my kindergarten teacher.
