Jerry was an exceptional person. He taught me so much, including a greater appreciation for music. To me, the Lakme duet will always be Jerry’s love for Mary Ellen.
I’ve worked with Jerry and Mary Ellen for the past several years. In spite of everything Jerry had a great sense of humor he would laugh and tell jokes with me all the time. It was a pleasure to be here for him during his last years of life. I’m thankful to have seen such a strong and long lasting love between Jerry and Mary Ellen and I will cherish the memories and happy times.
I did not have the pleasure of knowing Jerry, but Mary Ellen is a Fife High School classmate, for that I am pleased to share. Prayers for Mary Ellen and entire family.
My husband & I met Mary Ellen & her lovely Mom, when my in-laws were neighbors to them. It is with much sadness that I met them so late in this connection. I never met Jerry, have just recently learned about him in sharing emails with Mary Ellen. He was a great guy, wonderful husband & father, who left this world too soon due to this horrible affliction, that is not well understood, & many of us are just learning about. I am sending best wishes & love to Mary Ellen & her family as they go about their daily lives, now with the void left by Jerry’s passing.
