So many parts of your mom’s legacy made me chuckle with admiration. Fanette was a delightful woman who I enjoyed visiting on many occasions. She had much sadness in her life but carried on with that beautiful smile and twinkle in her eye and never dwelled on anything but the best. She spoke often of her family member she spoke with daily and of you, Patrick and Jessica. I remember being with her before a surgery where medical, life history and laughter were shared openly, without regret. What a woman Fanette was, and one who will remain in my thoughts forever.
