Jim Wesley White
Jim Wesley White, 62 of Fairbanks AK, passed away on March 5, 2020, in the Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA, after complications related to his disability and severe chronic conditions.
He was born in Andalusia, Alabama, on September 27, 1957, son of the late John and Delena White. He is survived by his spouse Galina White and his stepson Artem Grushin. He is also survived by his five siblings, their family members, and other relatives.
Jim served in the US Army for 12 years and was honorably discharged due to his disability. He continued serving his country working as a heavy equipment operator at the Eielson Airforce Base in Fairbanks, AK, until he medically retired from this position in 2014.
The church service will be held at noon on March 12 at the St. Nicolas Orthodox Cathedral in Seattle, WA. On Friday, March 13, he will be transported to Fairbanks AK, where he will be buried at the Birch Hill Cemetery at the end of May.
