Nelson Augustine Potter

Nelson Augustine Potter II (Jay)  86, born November 13, 1932 in Wellsville, Allegheny County, New York, to Nelson A Potter & Virginia Hosley Dean.

Nelson (Jay) served in the US Navel Air Force; he also had an Associate Degree in Computers Maintenance.

After the passing of his good friend Larry Robertson, Nelson (Jay) moved to Washington from California in 2012 where he lived with Larry’s brother Garry Robertson in Renton, WA. Until he became too ill to care for, and had to be moved to an Adult Family Home, he also attended the New Life Church in Renton, WA.

Nelson (Jay) passed away September 1, 2019 in Kent, WA, where he had lived for the past 2 years.

To all that knew him, we always called him Jay.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nelson (Jay) is survived by one brother, Joel L Potter of Johnstown, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

His remains will be sent to his brother Joel and be buried close to his mother’s grave site in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville, Allegheny County, New York.
