Great tribute to my friend! My heart goes out to her family & praying they find peace as they remember good times. We had lots of those times & being near her family makes her loss much more tolerable for me. Love you all forever!
Missing mom each moment… Thank you to all who loved her as much as we did!
The sun is setting,
The waves glitter and light dances upon them.
The wind whips through and gulls cry, calling the night, the end of day.
I will forever see you here,
Walking upon the beach,
Glancing at the debris left upon the shore,
Searching for treasures.
You have left us with a love of the beach and with a deep understanding the simple gift of giving.
You have left us with a family to hold on to and memories that will help us laugh when the grief is deep and dark.
Now, you watch us from above, with Dad and all who have gone before us.
Today, when I look to the sunset, the view has changed,
For now, you are in the vibrant colors of the sky as the sun sinks below the horizon.
Your glorious smile and that glint of humor in your eyes are now what sparkles upon the waves.
Thank you for being my mom, my confident, my friend.
