Marjorie Barbara Lundman West
Marjorie Barbara Lundman West, Born May 12 1935, of Kirkland WA, passed away March 18th 2018.
Marjorie West was daughter of Murley and Margaret Lundman, sister of Marline West, Mert Harbison and May Welcome, loving wife of Charles Clinton West and is survived by her children, Rose West and her companion Don Bergquist, Rena and Brian Schmitt, Lora and Jim Terletter, and Clint and Karen West.
Living in Kirkland for all her life, Marjorie graduated in 1953 from Lake Washington High School and later in 1954 was introduced by her sister Marline to the late Charles Clinton, whom she married in 1955. She and others in their lives also referred to Charles as “C.C.”
Marjorie enjoyed attending and playing bingo regularly, joining in on family dinners and as well as taking up cross word puzzles in her free time. In earlier years, she enjoyed crotchet, caring for her yard and taking her children to the local lake.
She owned a Jack Russel Terrier names Charlie who she named after her late husband.
She happily worked at the Bellevue Kmart for 25 years and has also worked for the Kirkland Evergreen hospital cafeteria as a cashier. Marjorie was very well known for her potato salad, lemon pies and banana vanilla wafer pudding at family events.
She and her husband happily raised 2 litters of pups with their wolves Rebel and Sheba.
She is also survived by her many grandchildren, including Brian “B” Schmitt and his wife Jen; Heather Kemp and her husband Ryan, Justin West; Cameron West, Derek Eisen, Dale Terletter, Linda Cogburn and her husband Luke, Chrissy Day; Michelle Canty and her husband Jeremie; Adam Forcier and his husband Gabe., Lee Terletter and his wife Patrisha, Analee Terletter, Roman Terletter, and Jacoby Terletter, Clarissa Cogburn, Ana Cogburn, Alex Day, Shawn Day, Paxton Day, Britney Day, Micheal Canty, Adin Canty, Raven Canty, Shylee Lewis, Kairi Terletter, Kaiden Terletter, and Calie Terletter.
She will be remembered dearly with a viewing at Barton Family Funeral Service of Kirkland, 11630 Slater Ave NE Suite 1A, Kirkland WA from 9am to 11am, followed by a graveside service at 12:00 PM in the Kirkland Cemetery, being buried alongside her husband’s resting place.

I will sure miss driving over after work to sit and visit telling each other stories and I will also miss your yummy lemon pies and banana vanilla wafer pudding!! Remember several people wanted the recipie after you made it for our wedding reception. Marge you were the kindest good hearted mother in law a gal could ever have! I’m sure you are enjoying heaven to it’s fullest and reuniting with C.C. must be so special!! Love you! Karen
