L Tucker Hatfield, of Hagerstown, Indiana, born on March 6, 1954 in Henry County, Indiana, to the late Nola and Lawrence Sells Ford Hatfield, passed away at age 63 on December 26, 2017 in Kirkland, Washington.
Tucker graduated from Miami University in 1972. He was a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft.
Tucker is survived by Lisa, his wife of 31 years, his son, Samuel; daughter, Alicia; and sisters, Penelope, Theodora, and Nola.
He had a passion for photography, cooking, and beer-making.
Tucker was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the scattering of ashes on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Herland Forest Natural Burial Ground, 55 Windward Lane, Wahkiacus, Washington, 98670.

Tucker was a childhood friend who I just reached out to as I will be in WA this summer I am so sorry for your loss. He was a good person.
I am so sorry to very belatedly learn of Tucker’s passing 2017. Tucker was a good friend to both my brother, Larry Crowe (died in 2005), and myself when we all worked at the Hueston Woods State Park Lodge in Preble Co. Ohio. (1969-early 70’s) I saw Tucker perform as Jim in Tennessee Williams’ Glass Menagerie as a high school senior in Eaton, Ohio in Dec. 1971. The role fit him perfectly, and he performed it so well. When I knew Tuck, he was a funny, gregarious, and very intelligent dreamer. And we three (Larry, Tucker, and I) three were “commuter students” at Miami U together. Tuck’s parents bought him my brother, Larry Crowe’s, motorcycle while they were in college at Miami U.
It was fun ride around his Dad’s big tank of an Oldsmobile. I am glad to read that he had a loving family and such a successful and impactful career.
