Thomas G. Meyer
Thomas G. Meyer, of Mount Vernon, WA, died on Thursday, July 13, 2017 in Seattle, WA. He was 75. He was born March 27, 1942 in Mount Vernon, WA.
He attended Roosevelt Elementary School and Mount Vernon High School, graduating in 1960.
On November 18,1967, he married Patricia Wardenaar, and together they had three children, Kimberly, Brian and Scott.
Tom worked as a Foreman at Skagit County P.U.D, retiring in 2005. He served as a member and President of the Mount Vernon Lions Club and was a founding member of the North Cascade Street Rod Association.
A unique soul, Tom had a great sense of humor, and was a friend to everyone he met. Tom loved camping, going on rod runs with the North Cascade Street Rod Association, barbecues with family and friends, being the “Donut Guy” at swap meets and time spent with his fellow “butt-nuggets.”
He was a wonderful grandpa and will be greatly missed. Tom is survived by his children, Kimberly (Wade) Evans of Three Lakes, Brian (Belen) of Everett, Scott of Mount Vernon, sister Diane Meyer of Mount Vernon and his grandchildren Christopher, Ashleigh and Chase. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat, his parents Bert and Betty Meyer and his in-laws Albert and Lorraine Wardenaar.
Graveside services to be announced and a Celebration of Life party to be held September 16, 2017 at the Lodge at Hillcrest Park in Mount Vernon.
Memorial donations may be made in Tom’s name to the American Diabetes Association.

Tom’s Celebration of Life is to be held at the LaConner Yacht Club on Saturday August 26th at 1 p.m.
