Rhys C Shear
Rhys passed away on November 4, 2016 in Seattle, Washington.
He was born on March 9, 1954 in Muncie, Indiana. He attended Burris School and Syracuse University, and graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
Rhys lived in Minneapolis for many years, and worked there as a chef, seafood buyer, deli owner, and food service manager.
In Seattle, Rhys co-owned a statuary company, and worked as a chef, most recently at OSL (Operation Sack Lunch).
Rhys is survived by his brothers Robin (Mary), Randy (Susan), Richard (Angela), and Ron (Shannon), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Renee Caudill, and parents Robert and Lois Siberry Shear.
Rhys was a lifelong gardener and an accomplished artist. He enjoyed cooking for and spending time with friends and family. Rhys was caring, loving, and kind, and will be greatly missed.

My thoughts are still with Rhys’s family, and I wish you all a blessed Christmas. I know this will be a first for all of you after your losses of 2016. I miss Rhys every day and am so thankful that he was, and will always remain, part of my life. Peace and love to you.
