My most sincere condolences to Maureen’s family and loved ones. We lost touch over the years as sadly happens. But I will always remember my friend and roommate in our late teens-twenties. We would laugh till we cried, and her eyes would twinkle with a combination of joy and mischief. In all the years I knew her I can’t remember a single cross word.
Yes, I remember Maureen Vague from Holy Family grade school in Kirkland. Her sister, Catherine, and I were in the same class a couple of years behind Maureen.
My older brother was a classmate of Maureen.
I remember times at Holy Family when Maureen was looking after Catherine as older sisters do. I got the impression that the Vague family was very close. I wish that I knew them better.
