Edward Routh
1938-2016
Edward Frank Routh, 78, of Bothell, Washington, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on March 1, 2016.
He is survived by his wife Ruth of 57 years, sons Tracy (Inga) Routh, David (Tilly) Routh, and Douglas (Natalie) Routh, granddaughter Annabelle Routh, step grandchildren Alex and Tyler Horton, Alex and Tristan Knolles and brother Ronald Routh. Edward was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother (in law), uncle and friend to all.
Ed was raised in Duluth, MN and after enlisting in the US Army, doing a tour in Korea, he was stationed at Ft Lewis. Ruth and Ed loved Washington so much they decided to stay and make it their home.
Ed loved all things mechanical, working as an aerospace machinist he received several awards for his craftsmanship and participation on projects for the space program. He enjoyed spending his free time with family, working in his woodshop, camping and fishing.

Funeral and committal services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent on Friday, March 25th at 3:00 pm (arrive 15-30 minutes early).

RIP, cousin Ed. I regret not connecting more during our lifetime here on earth.
He was a good man, proud of his family, who left big footsteps for his sons to follow in.
