Donald (“Donnie or DJ”) Charles Rexrode
Donnie passed away after a brief illness on January 10, 2016. He was born in St Augustine, Florida on September 29, 1949.
He is preceded in death my his Mother, Agnes Rexrode Parrish, Father, Ollie Rexrode, Sister Sherry Keiffer, Uncle Dan Brennan, father figure, and his Adopted Grandmother Hazel Bennett.
He is survived by his twin brother, Ronald Rexrode (Carol), sister, Debra Gentry (Jerry), Step Father, Alvin Parrish, and a number of nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Carmen Rawlings for her caregiving and friendship as well as his good friend Sandra Volstead.
Donnie lived life to its fullest! He always had a joke, smile or a poem, especially if it was a special occasion. In his younger years he enjoyed doing work as a DJ and loved music. He also enjoyed playing the lottery and this recent jackpot would have had him going! Donnie loved his Seattle SeaHawks! He love sparring with his brother, Ron (who lives in NC) about the Carolina Panthers. What fun he would have had over the upcoming playoff game against then this Sunday. He loved his brother and sisters.
Everyone who knew Donnie loved him. He will be greatly missed. We all loved him!

Pauline & I enjoyed playing with Walkie talkies with you & Ronnie on Post Road and Penhurst Ave in Baltimore. When you lived at your Uncle Dan’s house. Those were the days where we played around the circle with bikes, & roller skates until dark.
