Joanne Virginia French

Joanne Virginia French passed away at her home on May 26,2015 in Kirkland, Washington after battling lung cancer for two years. Joanne was born in Post Falls, Idaho on June 12, 1933.

She worked as an accountant in Seattle. She was a avid Seattle sport fan of all the Seattle sports teams. Joanne was well known for her candy making at the Holiday time. She was active in the Square Dancing Community and a member of the “Toe Stompers”

In her retirement years Joanne was active in the Northshore Senior Center and helped in their accounting. She also was a volunteer at Evergreen Hospital.

Joanne leaves behind her son Tim, Grandsons Harley and Tom. Her brother Ivan (Hanna), 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

A celebration of her life will be held  at the Northshore Senior Center on June 13, 2015 at Bothell, WA from 12:30pm to 2:30 pm.

 
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Halvorson Cancer Center at Evergreen Hospital.
