Stephen John Fish
Stephen John Fish (Steve) passed away peacefully at his home in Shoreline, WA on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the age of 66. Steve was born on December 12, 1947 in Tacoma, WA to Leonard James Fish & Inabel Mabel (Shunn) Fish. He was the youngest of 6 children: Jeanette Gates [deceased], Lavina Field (Ernie), Ellen Glenn (Len), Betty Steele [deceased], Blaine Fish (Donna). He married Louise Christine Roeder on June 17, 1972 at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Seattle, WA. He was the proud father of 3 sons: Keven John Fish, Timothy James Fish (Kaedra) & Sean Richard Stallings. He was blessed with 3 grandchildren Mya Jane Stallings (5), Tyson James Fish (3), Trenton John Fish (11 months). Steve was also involved in the lives of many nieces and nephews and was specially bonded to Kimberly Jae Glenn.
Steve was baptized Christian at age 19 at Lake Osooyos in Orville, WA with his father. He served in the U.S. Army 1966-1969. In 1984, Steve opened F&F Auto Repair and proudly built the business on honesty and fair pricing. The business continues under his son, Timothy. In his earlier years, Steve was very active racing in figure 8 car races, coaching basketball and playing & umpiring baseball. However, in his later years, spending time with his grandchildren occupied most of his leisure time. Steve was always known for his great sense of humor, even during his illness.
The family will be hosting a celebration of Steve’s life on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 1:00PM at Calvary Fellowship 23302 56th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043 officiated by Pastor David Clark.
