Paul Douglas Holder
Paul Douglas Holder, 78, passed away on October 21 at his home in the east highland of Renton, WA.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 2 2012 at 3pm at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
Paul was born on March 17, 1934 in Alabama to Wesley and Iva Lee Holder
Paul joined the Navy when he was 18 and served 4 years. Paul worked for General Electric Company for 35 years. He then taught at Renton Vocational Technical College for 2 years until he retired.
He met his wife, Waverly at a naval ship party. They married on September 5 1958 in Seattle, WA.
His interests included family, golfing, fishing, hiking, camping, cutting firewood in the mountains.
Paul is survived by his wife Waverly Holder, his 4 daughters and their husbands, Peggy Holder of Auburn, WA. (Bob Clarke): Marie Lancing of Renton WA. (Frank Lancing): Pam Craven of Lima, MT. (Kent Craven): Paula Crane of Renton WA.(Bart Crane) 2 brothers Lamar Holder, FL. Donald Holder, AL. and 1 sister Jaunita Box, AL. 11 grandchildren, Mandi Teeters, Jake Teeters, Shyla Simington, Janelle Serrao, Nick Vermurlen, Elida Erin Wheeler, Keith Craven, Leesa Duncan, Paul Crane, Colby Crane, Shannon Crane. And 14 great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his daughter Gail Ann Clarke, his son James Ellis Holder, and 2 grandsons Joey and Bobby Clarke
