Carol Lee Windsor

Carol Lee Windsor passed on May 9, 2012 at Evergreen Hospice of Kirkland from complications of emphysema. Born in Whittier California in 1947, Carol was a loving and devoted mother and sister. Her wit and determination blessed all those who knew her. It was a 10 year struggle that she battled courageously as she defied all of the doctors predictions. That we had her in our lives as long as we did is a testament to her tenacity and to extraordinary support from her family. Especially Missy who saw to her mother’s every need for the past 10 years.

She is survived by her children James Norris, Missy Lawson, Sherri Munroe, Berry Windsor her grandchildren Ashley Lawson, Christopher McHugh, Joe and Melissa Munroe, Chase and Tyson Windsor and her sister Kathy Bauer.

Just posting some nice comments I have come across lately regarding my mother. This one is from a long lost friend…….
Hi Carol. I have such good memories of you & your family, it really does my heart good to comminicate again with those I’ve spent so much time over the years thinking about. You where always so sweet to me, and you always had my respect. Your fb page is too cute, must be a reflection of it’s owner. Missy is remarkable,

I loved talking with Carol when we all worked together at Oakmont. She was so funny and I always enjoyed her company. Whenever we were slow and had some free time, I would go up to the front desk to find her to chit chat and laugh with her. She had such a gentle nature and kind heart and even though I haven’t seen her in years, she will be greatly missed. xoxo

Carol was my biggest fan. She was my sister. Being loved by Carol was an experience I would wish on anyone. She loved deeply, selflessly and completely. I told her we would all be fine, and we will, but did not imagine exactly how this would feel initially. She knew me better than anyone on earth. Yes, I have turned inward here but I do not negate the even graver feelings that her own children are feeling.
My phone keeps ringing and it is not Carol!

As a young girl I remember going over to visit and was Always welcomed by you Carol, In a kids world thats huge. When Berry was born you met me at the door to show him off. I know your children meant the world to you. I didn’t get to see you much in my adult years but I enjoyed your facebook post. I know you’re in a better place and hope for peace for all your loved ones. God Bless you all!
