“What a Wonderful World”

He joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he served his tour in Fulda, Germany. After 2 years he earned an honorable discharge. After his military service he became a licensed plumber in the states of Alaska, California and Washington. He was a hard worker and enjoyed providing for his family.

Steve fought a brave battle with cancer for over 5 years. By God’s healing grace and the love of friends and family he was able to fight the good fight of faith. His brave spirit was admired by many as they held him up in prayer. Now the battle is over and he is in heaven rejoicing.

Steve is survived by his daughters Lana and Terra, grandchildren Alec, Luis, Iyana, Kaden and Kisa. He is also survived by his sisters Donna and Judy.

Service is planned for Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11:00 am and prior viewing is from 10:30 – 11:00 am, located at Generational Hope Christian Center in Maple Valley. The Graveside service will follow at Riverton Crest Cemetery, Tukwila.

What a truly sweet and true tribute to my brother, Steve. Simple and honest, loving and pure hearted, as was he. My lovely nieces, Lana and Terra, are his most precious gifts. He loved and loves you hard and true, and completely without any reserve or expectation, with a ferocity which will keep him within your hearts for the rest of your lives. His girls were his source of light. Uncle Hank was his mentor, (he told me so) and role model, as well as his friend and Steve was so grateful.
Steve is my big brother. He did a good job.

I knew Steve from junior high and high school. He was such a sweet guy. It was really great to see him at the 2012 Roosevelt HS reunion and get a chance to reminisce with him. RIP Steve – gone way too soon.

    I miss you so.
