Glenn Lamar Creech, Jr.

DSCN0421_01 (2)Born February 11, 1959 in Jacksonville, FL to Glenn and Martha Creech.  Died suddenly in Kirkland, WA on March 1, 2014.  Grew up in Northern California where his father worked in the forest products industry.  Glenn became interested in computers and information technology at an early age.  He worked for more than 20 years as an IT project team member and manager at Levi Strauss, McKesson Drugs, and Eddie Bauer.  He joined Talyst Corporation of Kirkland, WA in 2007 where most recently he was an IT product manager.

Glenn was a man of many talents.  He built his own home in the San Francisco Bay area in the 1980s, played guitar in both large and small musical groups, and loved biking, hiking, sailing, and music among a wide range of interests.  Above all he was a dedicated husband and father who took greatest pleasure in spending time with his family.

Glenn is survived by his wife Karen Marie (Holley) Creech and sons David Charles Creech and Derek Daniel Creech of Shoreline, WA; mother Martha Creech and sister Nancy (Creech) Crook of Cartersville, GA.  A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 3PM on Wednesday, April 2 at the Mercer Island Beach Club, 8326 Avalon Drive, Mercer Island, WA 98040; Tel: 206-232-3125.  Remembrances can be sent to a family memorial fund; for details see https://www.youcaring.com/memorial-fundraiser/glenn-creech-memorial-fund/152655

    Jeannie, Nick, Alex, Adam and Derek Benedict and Andre are so sorry to hear about the passing of Glenn.
    We just found out today on August 10th.

    Glenn played such a vital and fun role in our lives and words are not enough express our friendship and respect we all have had for Glenn.

    Glenn will be forever be a part of who we are due to the positive impact he has played in our lives.

    I just came across this. I knew Glenn in the late 70s and 80s while he lived in California. We we’re co-workers at ‘The Deitch Group’, his first IT job predating McKesson. Aside from work we were bicycle and motorcycle riding buddies. Great times. I’ll miss you guy and thanks for it all.

    Buddy was my parents’ neighbor when I was a young boy in the early 70s. Sorry he passed suddenly. My condolences.
